HOLIDAYING IN THE UK

You don't always have to go abroad to have a great holiday. We have access to a huge number of tour operators, that give us access to a selection of places throughout the UK to holiday. Whether its Wales, Cornwall, Scotland, Lake District or anywhere else for that matter, we can offer you the perfect getaway.
You might be thinking about a Caravan Break, or maybe a Canal Trip, or even stay is a Lodge, the choices are endless.

Tencreek offers a gentle West Country climate and a wonderful holiday location between the popular resorts of Looe and Polperro.

There’s always something going on, with facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool (available all year), and children have a play area and multi sports pitch. The park has a reputation for providing some of the best evening entertainment around, with live groups, discos, dancing and cabaret.

The park is the closest holiday park to the historic town of Looe, just over a mile away and access is via a country lane. If you enjoy walking, you’ll find the coastal path to popular Talland Bay, Looe and Polperro rewarding for its spectacular views. The local beaches are also excellent, while rocky coves and inlets abound.

Captain Cook’s Haven is beautifully set, on two levels, nestling beside the banks of the River Esk as it winds its way from the rugged beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors towards the bustling seaside resort of Whitby, just a mile away.

These cottages offer an ideal touring centre for exploring the nearby fishing villages, sandy bays and seaside resorts. You enjoy the use of a superb indoor heated swimming pool and alongside the pool is an exciting playground for children of all ages.

The historic city of York, Castle Howard and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park are also within easy reach.

The North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway also runs from Whitby to Pickering and passes Captain Cook’s Haven.

Enjoy a ride or walk along the old railway track towards Whitby or Robin Hoods Bay (6 miles). Other places of interest in the area are Whitby Folk Festival, North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway and Flamingoland Theme Park (20 miles)

Ground floor holiday apartment is an ideal base for a couple wishing to explore the Isle of Wight.

Contemporary interiors and facilities in the Victorian Claremont House, and they benefit from some exceptional extras, including a fully equipped gym and 6-seater hot tub shared by all guests, and an excellent hair and beauty salon offering a wide range of treatments to help you make the most of a relaxing holiday. The properties are within walking distance of the award-winning beach at Sandown Bay with its miles of golden sand, and also the popular golf course close by. Sandown is a truly traditional beach resort and is the ideal location for any family holiday. There is a pier with amusements, children’s play areas, pitch and putt, the Isle of Wight Zoo and Dinosaur Isle at the northern end of the esplanade towards Yaverland and Culver Cliff. Other island attractions include Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK and The Needles, with chair lift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay, are only a short drive away. Other places to visit include Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Isle of Wight Pearl, a donkey sanctuary and Calbourne Water Mill, which has a 17th-century working watermill. Osborne House and Gardens (Queen Victoria’s holiday residence), Carisbrooke Castle and the sailing town of Yarmouth are worthy of a visit. Cowes in the north west of the island is renowned for its sailing. Also within easy reach are vineyards and quaint villages, such as Godshill, Old Shanklin and Brighstone with some thatched cottages. Beach 400 yards. Shops 100 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
